An argument between neighbors over a parking space at a 10th Ave. apartment complex escalated into a fist fight and led to the arrest of a 39-year-old man and 41-year-old woman, police said.

Police said just before 11 p.m. Sunday night, the 39-year-old suspect argued with a 34-year-old man and began punching the victim, knocking him to the ground. The 41-year-old woman then began kicking the victim, police said.

The 34-year-old man ran into his apartment, but the two suspects allegedly chased him, broke into his home, and continued hitting him. Police said the suspects also assaulted a 33-year-old woman, a guest in the apartment.

The two suspects were being held without bail this morning for assault and burglary, while police sort out the details of the case and prosecutors decide whether to file formal charges.
