Police arrested a 23-year-old homeless man who broke into his father’s Nuuanu house even though there is a temporary restraining order barring him from being at the residence.

The suspect, who had been evicted from the family home, unlawfully entered the house and took an item yesterday afternoon.

Police were called an arrested the man at the nearby 7-Eleven at 1755 Nuuanu Ave. on suspicion of first-degree burglary and violating a temporary restraining order.
