The woman stabbed to death in her Kalihi home Wednesday has been identified as Marcelina Delacruz, 64.

An autopsy deterined Delacruz died of blood loss from stab wounds to her abdomen.

Benjamin Lucas, 80, of an Arsenal Road address, was being held on $100,000 bail after being charged with second-degree murder.

Police said Lucas is Delacruz’s brother-in-law.

Police said a 46-year-old woman ran downstairs at the home and saw her father standing holding a kitchen knife over her aunt, who was lying in a pool of blood.

Lucas left the home after the stabbing but later turned himself in to police.
