Pearl Harbor man critically injured in motorcycle crash

A 22-year-old Pearl Harbor man suffered critical injuries in a crash Monday afternoon involving a car and motorcycle at the intersection of Radford Drive and Center Drive.

Police said the 22-year-old man was riding a red Yamaha motorcycle heading east on Radford Drive that hit a 2007 silver Accura sedan making a left turn to Center Drive.

The 76-year-old Honolulu man driving the Accura was not injured. Police said the 22-year-old man was ejected onto the sidewalk and  suffered face and spinal injuries. Paramedics took him to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition. His condition was downgraded to critical at the hospital.

Police said he was wearing a helmet and may have been speeding when the crash happened.
