Fire causes $10,000 damage to Hilo house
Big Island firefighters extinguished a fire in the living room of a Hilo house today.
Officials said the $10,000 fire was suspicious in nature, but the cause is under investigation.
Firefighters were summoned to the Kinoole Street home about 11:50 a.m. and had the fire under control at noon.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
