Ceremony shuts Kapolei road lanes

Both mauka-bound lanes of Kualakai Parkway, also known as the North-South Road, are scheduled to be closed until this afternoon because of today’s rail transit groundbreaking ceremony.

The lane closures will last through 5 p.m. The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. today along the parkway. More than 400 people are expected to attend, including Gov. Neil Abercrombie and U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye.
