Man arrested for allegedly choking girlfriend
A 27-year-old downtown man was arrested Thursday after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend earlier this week.
The woman, 26, said that during an argument, her boyfriend grabbed her around the neck and choked her about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect was located at the couple’s River Street apartment Thursday night and arrested for felony abuse of a household member.
