A teenager was arrested in Mililani early Friday after allegedly "acting out" with his parents and police.

Police said the boy, 17, was on a Mililani street "acting out toward his parents and officers" at 12:54 a.m. He was placed under arrest for injurious behavior and was handcuffed behind his back. While being escorted to a police car, he attempted to flee.

He was arrested a short time later and taken into custody. He was released pending investigation of charges of injurious behavior, second-degree escape and fourth-degree theft.
