Man charged with methamphetamine trafficking

A 48-year-old man with no local address was charged with trafficking methamphetamine in Aiea.

Police arrested the man at Neal S. Blaisdell Beach Park about noon Monday.

Ernest Medeiros Jr. was charged with one count of first-degree methamphetamine trafficking, a class A felony, and three counts of second-degree methamphetamine trafficking, a class B felony. He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
