Police search for Ewa Beach bank robber

Honolulu police released this image of a suspected bank robber taken by a security camera at the First Hawaiian Bank Ewa Beach branch this afternoon.

Police are looking for a man wearing a baseball cap and a bandanna who robbed an Ewa Beach bank Monday.

Police said the man entered the First Hawaiian Bank branch at 91-919 Fort Weaver Road at 1 p.m. and demanded money from a teller.

He fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The man is described as in his 30s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 140 pounds, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, long pants, slippers, and a black baseball cap with a bandana.
