Woman arrested for allegedly trying to bribe Liquor Commission employee

A 50-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of bribing a Honolulu Liquor Commission employee for a liquor card, police said.

The woman offered an employee a bribe to allow her to pass a liquor license test about 11:15 a.m. Officers arrested her at the commission office on suspicion of bribery, but released her pending investigation.
