Boy, 11, held in assault over pen
An 11-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday after allegedly assaulting another boy over a pen.
Police said the boys, classmates both age 11, were arguing over the pen in the downtown area when one boy assaulted the other about 12:45 p.m. Sept. 21.
Police arrested the boy for investigation of third-degree assault and fourth-degree theft. He was released to his parents.
The pen was not recovered.
