College students find fun, educational outlet in clubs

    University of Hawaii-Manoa alumna and employee Jackie Young founded and still heads the university's Barry Manilow and "Xena:?Warrior Princess"?student clubs. Her collection of memorabilia from both passions includes T-shirts, calendars, photos, concert DVDs, albums and a plastic Xena sword. Groups like Young's provide a valuable social and educational experience for college students, officials say.
