Kealopiko seeks the best ‘bussUP’ tees for contest
A new shirt for old is a good deal, and that’s what Kealopiko is offering as the prize in its BussUP T-shirt Contest ending Wednesday.
All you have to do is submit photos of yourself in your most buss’ up (that’s "bust up" for nonpidgin speakers) Kealopiko T-shirt via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter @kealopiko or email to kealopiko@kealopiko.com. The winners in the wahine, kane and keiki divisions will receive a new Kealopiko shirt.
Roberta Oaks shop is bigger, open longer
Roberta Oaks has been working on expanding her store since fall, and now shoppers will find twice the space, with Oaks’ signature colorful and playful dresses, new creations in "eco bamboo" jersey and men’s slim-cut aloha shirts, plus room to spare for other vendors’ wares, including Amber Chesebro’s Salty Girl jewelry and Cindy Yokoyama’s Ginger13 jewelry.
The shop is at 19 N. Pauahi St., with increased hours from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays (until 10 p.m. on First Fridays) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
YWCA sale benefits disadvantaged women
The YWCA of Oahu is hosting a benefit clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in the Laniakea YWCA lobby at 1040 Richards St., with bargains on new and used women’s clothing and accessories.
Sales will benefit economically disadvantaged women re-entering the work force.

Find formalwear at Fisher House fundraiser
Find affordable prom and formal gowns and accessories at a special sale, organized by the 205th MI Battalion Coffee Group, at 2117-A Eluwene St. off Puuhale Road in Kalihi from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Dresses will be sold for $20 and accessories for $5. All proceeds benefit the Fisher House at Tripler Army Medical Center, which provides temporary housing at major military medical centers for service members and their families who are stationed worldwide and must travel long distances for specialized medical care.
Prom apparel may be dropped off at Fisher House through Friday, and items may also be brought to the sale.
During the Year of the Dragon, Rodial is launching its new Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel with minifacials during a "Winterize Your Skin" event taking place 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Nordstrom.
The gel is made from resin extract of the Croton lechleri, which grows in the Amazon and earned the local name sangre de drago (dragon’s blood) because of its thick red sap. When applied to the skin, the sap prevents wounds from bleeding and inhibits inflammation. Used in the sculpting gel, it forms a hydrating and protective shield over skin, preventing environmental damage, according to Rodial, a maker of skin care products.

ReVive founder holds anti-aging classes
Dr. Gregory Bays Brown, a plastic surgeon and founder of ReVive, will host free anti-aging education classes and provide one-on-one skin consultations at Nordstrom Ala Moana at 3 and 5 p.m. Friday and noon and 2 p.m. Saturday. Brown will talk about advances in skin care research and introduce ReVive’s new products. Following the sessions, he will be available to conduct customized skin analyses for attendees.
