Police seek help in finding car of man found dead on Hawaii island

Hawaii County police are again asking the public to help find a car belonging to a 62-year-old man found dead Jan. 17 in Puna.

The body of Dennis Eugene White of Kapoho was found partially submerged near Isaac Hale Beach Park in Pohoiki.

An autopsy found White died of a head injury.

Police have not ruled out foul play.

White’s dark green or black 1998 Jeep Wrangler with a tan soft top was seen in the Papaya Farms Road in Kapoho early evening on Jan. 16.
