Kauai’s Lydgate Park and Wailua Golf Course remain closed
Lydgate Park and Wailua Golf Course will remain closed Thursday due to flooding, Kauai County said today.
Lydgate Park was also affected by a spill from the Wailua Wastewater Treatment Facility, and county officials are following the guidance of the state Department of Health for protocols on reopening the park.
Officials will assess both facilities Thursday and send out an update.
