All lanes reopened on Kunia Road near Walmart after Hawaiian Electric Co. crews repaired downed power lines.
Honolulu police closed two north-bound lanes at about 7:45 a.m. and contra-flowed the south-bound lanes. The lanes reopened at about 11:20 a.m.
Hawaiian Electric Co. spokesman Darren Pai said about 800 customers in Kunia were without power because of an outage reported at about 7 a.m. He said power was restored before 9:30 a.m.
It’s unclear if the outage was related to the downed lines.
