Police have reopened the H-1 freeway’s westbound King Street offramp near the Hawaiian Humane Society after a critical crash involving a motor scooter shortly before 3 p.m.
Sent to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition was a man, 33, police said. Emergency Medical Services personnel said they do not believe the man was wearing a helmet.
No other vehicles were involved, police said.
