Hawaii County police look for missing Puna woman

Hawaii island police are asking for help in finding a missing 38-year-old Puna woman who has a medical condition.

Layla A. Fikes of Mountain View was last seen noon Dec. 28 in Hilo.

She is described as Caucasian, 5-feet 6-inches tall, weighing 115 pounds, with brown medium-length hair and brown eyes.

Fikes has a medical condition that may require medical attention, police said.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call police at 935-3311 or Detective Joel Field at 961-2381 or e-mail him at jfield@co.hawaii.hi.us. Anonymous calls may be made to CrimeStoppers at 329-8181 or 961-8300.
