Police arrest man in assault of another man on Keeaumoku Street


Police arrested a 25-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted another man on Keeaumoku Street early this morning.

According to police, the victim, a 33-year-old man, was talking to another person when two men approached. One of the men assaulted the victim then kicked him in the face when he fell down. The two suspects fled but police later located and identified the man who allegedly perpetrated the assault.

The second suspect has not yet been arrested.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
