Hawaii Pacific Health CEO Chuck Sted leaving post

Chuck Sted is leaving his post as chief executive officer of Hawaii Pacific Health to pursue an interest in board service in the public, private and community sectors, the company announced Monday.

He will be succeeded by Ray Vara, the current president and CEO of operations.

HPH, parent company of Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, Pali Momi Medical Center, Straub Clinic & Hospital and Wilcox Health on Kauai, said the move is part of a leadership succession plan effective March 1.
