Hawaii trade show among top 250


The annual Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo is at No. 232 among the Top 250 Trade Show list compiled by Trade Show News Network.

The local expo, now in its 18th year, is the largest annual trade show in the state, according to the Trade Show News Network description. Last year the show featured 326 exhibitors and was staffed by 1,819 exhibit personnel who talked story with 4,412 attendees July 11 and 12.

The show is staged annually by Douglas Trade Shows Management at Neal Blaisdell Center.

The Top 250 Trade Show list was topped by the International CES, owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association. The January, 2012 show at the Las Vegas Convention Center had 3,239 exhibitors, 51,236 exhibit personnel and 104,316 attendees.
