Honolulu mayor Kirk Caldwell speaks during a news conference that unveiled a newly redone crosswalk on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the intersection of Kalakaua Avenue and Royal Hawaiian Avenue in Waikiki. Crews re-painted and adjusted signals on Sunday night to convert the intersection into an “All Pedestrian Phase” intersection, commonly referred to as the “Barnes Dance” after Henry A.
