The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a women’s body found on the Waianae coast as that of Ivanice J. Harris, the 29-year-old Portland, Ore., woman who was reported last seen in Waikiki early Thursday morning.

Harris’ body was found near Yokohama Bay on Monday.

No determination has been made on the cause and manner of death, according to the medical examiner.

Harris’ friend, Jillian Gibides, told the Star-Advertiser earlier this week that Harris arrived on Oahu on May 7 and was last seen between 2 and 2:15 a.m. Thursday near Lewers Street and Kalakaua Avenue.

Gibides said Harris was a prostitute.
