Overnight water outage planned for Kalaheo, Kauai


The Kauai Department of Water has scheduled a water outage for the Kalaheo area from 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday to allow contractor Kaiwa Construction to connect to the water system.

Customers along Papalina Road from the Kaumualii Highway intersection to the Maka Road intersection as well as those along Alelo Road, Auwae Road, Puu Kulana Place, a portion of Puu Road from Polaris Road to 2121 Puu Road, Lapuuna Place, Puu Lani Place and Texeira Tract will have no water service.

The department will provide potable water tanks at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center. Customers will need to bring their own water containers.
