Board of Water Supply crews have fixed an 8-inch water line but four lanes of Kapiolani Boulevard near Cook Street remain closed due to an already schedule construction job Monday.

The break connects service to the water main at 711 Kapiolani, board officials said. Water service was restored about 4:45 p.m. after a brief halt in service.

While the break has been repaired, two westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes of Kapiolani are closed between Dreier Street and Ward Avenue due to an existing project. The far left west bound and far left eastbound lanes remain open.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and to use alternate routes if possible.
