Police arrested a 23-year-old Kalihi man who allegedly assaulted his 25-year-old girlfriend this morning.
Police said the couple had gotten into an argument at 8 a.m. at their home, and the argument turned into a physical confrontation.
The woman later sought medical attention and found she had received substantial injury, police said.
Police arrested the man at his home on suspicion of second-degree assault.
