Woman held in alleged theft of car from Waikiki hotel


Police arrested a 25-year-old Kaneohe woman after she allegedly stole a vehicle belonging to a Waikiki hotel early this morning.

According to police, the suspect took the vehicle without authorization from the hotel around 4:45 a.m. The car was located in Kaneohe several hours later as the subject of a parking complaint.

Police said the suspect surrendered to the responding officer without incident and was arrested for unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
