Hawaii County police shut down Hawaii Belt Road in both directions for about four hours Tuesday due to a traffic incident involving an overturned tractor trailer and a car.
Three patients on scene with minor injuries.
The closure was at the 42-mile marker about 11:30 a.m.
Three people suffered minor injuries, firefighters said.
Traffic was diverted through Honokaa town. The road was reopened about 4 p.m.
