Te’o to miss Chargers’ season opener
Linebacker Manti Te’o will miss the San Diego Chargers’ season opener on Monday Night Football, the team said today.
Te’o has been sidelined since early August with a foot injury sustained in the Chargers’ first preseason game.
The North Shore native and Punahou School alumnus has worn a boot on his foot in recent weeks and has not practiced for several weeks.
There was no further announcement of his condition.
