SEATTLE >> A Seattle-bound Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta made an emergency landing Monday night in Pasco, Wash.

FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer said Flight 2329 declared an emergency due to a fire warning light issue, and the Boeing 757 landed without incident at the Tri-Cities Airport.

Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant said the crew followed safety procedures after a cargo hold temperature indication light was observed. There were 183 passengers on board.

Arriving passengers told KOMO they were told the warning light was a false alarm.

Another plane was dispatched to continue the flight to Sea-Tac Airport, and passengers finally reached their destination at about 6 a.m. today.
