Representative Rida Cabanilla seconds the motion to adjourn until 10 a.m. Wednesday morning to resume their vote on the gay marriage bill in the State Capitol on Tuesday November 5, 2013 in Honolulu , Hawaii.

State Rep. Rida Cabanilla has been fined $500 by the state Campaign Spending Commission for filing an inaccurate or false campaign-finance report.

Cabanilla held a fundraiser in March but reported raising no money when she filed her campaign-finance report for the first half of the year. She subsequently reported raising $5,830.

Cabanilla was named House majority floor leader in October after Rep. Karen Awana resigned the leadership post after facing campaign-finance violations.

The Campaign Spending Commission imposed the fine at its meeting last Wednesday.
