Police arrested a 25-year-old woman who allegedly assaulted a police officer Thursday afternoon in Waianae.
Police said a female officer was placing the woman under arrest on suspicion of fourth-degree theft at the Waianae Mall.
The suspect resisted arrested and assaulted the officer at 12:20 p.m. today.
The officer arrested the woman on suspicion of assault of a law enforcement officer.
