Teenage boy arrested for allegedly trying to rob man in Waikiki
Honolulu police arrested a teenager who allegedly tried to rob a 22-year-old man during the day on a street in Waikiki.
The 14-year-old boy approached the man on the street and demanded his property and threatened physical harm close to 4:43 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
A struggle ensued with the man keeping his property and fleeing the area.
The suspect was later found, positively identified, and arrested less than 30 minutes later, police said
