A 55-year-old man died Wednesday after a strong wind gust caused a tree branch to fall on him at the Leilehua Golf Course.
The incident occurred 11:45 a.m. in Wahiawa while the man was golfing, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services spokeswoman Shayne Enright. Paramedics took the man to a hospital.
The branch hit him on the head.
