Suspect arrested in Kapahulu stabbing

    Honolulu police are investigating a stabbing in Kapahulu that sent 2 men to the hospital early this morning.

Police arrested a 36-year-old homeless man, who is suspected of stabbing two other men early this morning in Kapahulu.

Emergency Medical Services said the two victims, ages 50 and 53, were taken to the hospital at 12:28 a.m. from the parking lot of a Kapahulu bank. The 50-year-old victim was in serious condition, while the 53-year-old man was in stable condition.

Both victims had stab wounds, EMS reported.

The three men had been arguing when the incident occurred at 12:20 a.m., police said.

The suspect was arrested on two counts of first-degree assault.
