The fire that burned four units at a townhouse complex in Ewa Beach on Saturday caused $680,000 in damages, according to Honolulu Fire Department spokesperson Capt. Terry Seelig.

The fire at the Arbors complex on Laaulu Street was first reported at 8:30 p.m.

Seelig said the townhouse consists of seven units but four of them suffered damages.

Two of the units were heavily damaged, one moderately damaged, and the other a little less damaged. The fire broke out in the alpha unit, he said.

The fire was brought under control at 10:05 p.m.

No injuries were reported but at least six people were displaced by the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
