CrimeStoppers looking for witnesses to Waikiki robbery

    Witnesses sought in a robbery that took place at 1720 Ala Moana Boulevard near the ABC Store.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s help in catching suspects in a robbery that injured a woman in Waikiki.

Police said on Feb. 2 at about 9:20 p.m., a 52-year-old woman was walking in the driveway of 1720 Ala Moana Boulevard near the ABC Store when she was approached from behind by an unknown male.

The suspect grabbed her purse, shoved her to the ground, and fled, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.

Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed or who may have information on the incident to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cellular phone.
