Honolulu police released this video frame from a security camera that shows a suspect trying to get in to the Chevron Food Mart in Waipahu on Feb. 1.

Police released security camera video of a suspect or suspects responsible for a series of armed robberies earlier this month.

In two of the cases, locked doors kept the suspect from getting inside the stores.

Police released security camera video of the suspect, dressed in a hooded sweatshirt, trying to get into the Chevron Food Mart in Waipahu on Feb. 1

Police said the suspect brandished a handgun at about 11:42 p.m., but was not able to get inside and fled.

A suspect, also dressed in a white hooded sweatshirt, tried to get in to the Chevron Station in Salt Lake while brandishing a handgun on Feb. 2 and 1 a.m.

Police said an employee saw the suspect approaching and was able to lock the door. The suspect attempted to break the glass and fled, police said.

A similarly dressed suspect climbed through the drive-thru window of the Jack in the Box in Kunia on Feb. 1, brandishing a handgun and taking money from the register before fleeing.

On Feb. 2, a man also dressed in a white hooded sweatshire, climbed through the drive-thru window of the McDonalds in Waikele, brandished a handgun, removed cash from the office and fled.

In another case last month, a man in a hooded sweatshirt robbed the Longs Drug Store on Fort Weaver Road at 2:38 a.m. on Jan. 25 after brandishing a handgun and demanding money from a cashier.

Police are not saying if the cases are connected.
