UH’s Sedore named AVCA men’s Player of the Week

University of Hawaii opposite attacker Brook Sedore was named the Sports Imports/AVCA Men’s Division I-II National Player of the Week on Tuesday. 

Sedore amassed 46 kills in the Rainbow Warriors’ two-match sweep of then No. 3 UCLA. Sedore tied a career-high with 24 kills in the past Friday’s four-set victory over the Bruins. He had 22 kills in a five-set win in the following night’s rematch. 

Sedore, a junior from Alberta, Canada, leads the Warriors with 3.62 kills per set.
