Heavy rains from the passing storm prompted the state Department of Health to issue a Brown Water Advisory for Waimea Bay and Bamburas surf area on Saturday.

The public is advised to stay out of brown flood water and water fun off due to possible overflowing cesspools, sewer manholes, pesticides, dead animals, chemicals, pathogens, and other types of hazardous debris.
