Prosecutors: ‘insufficient evidence’ for murder charge

The Prosecutor’s Office says there is insufficient evidence to support  an attempted murder charge in a stabbing case in Aiea.

Police released a 25-year-old Kalihi man, who was arrested for allegedly stabbed another man during an argument early Sunday morning.

Police said the incident occurred at 3:30 a.m. A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital with stab wounds.

Officers arrested the 25-year-old man about an hour later in Aiea.
