Visits to Halawa Correctional Facility and Oahu Community Correctional Center are canceled Saturday due to staffing shortages, the state Department of Public Safety said.
The department puts out visitation cancellation notices through social media to get the word out faster to people who are planning to come to the facility to visit a loved one.
Posts can be expected between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on the scheduled visitation day, the department said.
