Security officers at the University of Hawaii at Hilo are keeping an eye out for a red pickup truck following the third apparent auto theft on campus in the last month.

According to the university, a white 1986 Toyota truck was taken from the UH-Hilo Theater parking lot sometime between 8:30 and 11 p.m. on Thursday.

Security officials said a small red pickup truck with black stripes on the hood has been seen in various parking lots on campus and is “of interest.”

The campus community is being asked to report any suspicious activity to the Campus Security office at 974-7911.
