Wednesday night’s power outage affected several buildings on the University of Hawaii Manoa campus and left the Queen Liliupokalani Center for Student Services without power Thursday, a UH-Manoa spokeswoman said.

Workers were continuing to restore power to the building Thursday morning.

Facilities workers worked through the night on other buildings affected by the outage.

Hawaiian Electric co. said power was out to a large area of East Oahu from the Diamond Head side of Waikiki into Kaimuki for about a half hour Wednesday afternoon, starting at about 5 p.m.
