BRENTWOOD, Calif. >> Authorities say a man selling ice cream at a Northern California gas station was arrested after authorities said he was also offering methamphetamine for sale.

KPIX-TV reports police in Brentwood received a call Wednesday from a resident who told officers the vendor tried to sell drugs from his ice cream truck.

Officers arrested 62-year-old Kelly Brown of Oakley, a seller for Kelly’s Ice Cream, at the Arco station.

Brown has been booked into the Contra Costa County Jail on suspicion of methamphetamine possession.
