Police arrested a 33-year-old Kapahulu man who allegedly assaulted his 28-year-old ex-girlfriend early Wednesday morning, causing her to hit her head on the pavement in the University Avenue area.
Police said the man and woman were arguing at 3:30 a.m., when the man allegedly pushed the woman, causing her to fall to the ground.
She hit her head on the pavement and became unconscious, police said.
Police found the suspect at 3:50 a.m. and arrested him on suspicion of second-degree assault.
