The Liliha Bakery opened its second location Wednesday at the former Sam Choy’s Breakfast Lunch & Crab restaurant location on Nimitz Highway.

Owner Peter Kim said he hired about 70 people to staff the location.

The new restaurant will be opened daily from 6 a.m. to midnight. The original Liliha Bakery at 515 N. Kuakini St. is open 24 hours a day, except on Mondays.

The new restaurant has 165 seats. The original bakery has 64 employees and only 23 seats.
