Liquor commission to hold meeting for license holders


Newly appointed Liquor Commissioner Franklin “Don” Pacarro, Jr. will preside over a liquor information and awareness symposium beginning at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at the Ala Moana Beach Park McCoy Pavilion 

Mayor Kirk Caldwell will speak about the commission’s work at about 8:30 a.m.

The symposium, the first held in five years, is designed to provide liquor license holders and their management staff with information on critical issues, including alcohol and prescription drugs, license liability matters, employment and immigration law.
