A 60-year-old woman saw a man trying to break into a parked car and called police, leading to the arrest of a suspect in Pearl City Friday morning.
Police said the witness saw a 20-year-old Salt Lake man illegally enter the parked car. The suspect fled when he noticed someone watching him and calling the cops just before 7 a.m.
But responding officers arrested him at about 7 a.m. near the shopping complex that includes the Pearl City Don Quijote store.
